PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Alex Stein hurled seven complete innings in the second game of the day for Ridgewater as the Warriors completed a sweep of Cuyahoga Community College, Ohio at the Port Charlotte Invite Thursday.
Stein allowed six hits, but the sophomore right-hander issued only two walks with four strikeouts to help the Warriors post a 2-1 win.
Freshman Jacolby Anderson went 3-for-5 on the day and drove in three runs for Ridgewater, which evened its record to 3-3. Anderson lined a two-run single to ignite Ridgewater's 3-1 win in the opener.
The Warriors play another doubleheader today starting at 10 a.m. against Frederick Community College, Md.

After sophomore Matt Sagedahl singled and moved to third base on sophomore Steve Boldt's double to lead off the fourth inning, Anderson singled to give Ridgewater a 2-0 lead.
Freshman starter Andy Bauer tossed four scoreless innings, allowing only one hit, to get the win. He walked two and struck out one. Sophomore Zach Etter struck out four in three innings of relief to earn a save.

Jacolby Anderson doubled in sophomore Adam Schieck, who had walked, and later scored on Matt Sagedahl's single in the fifth inning. The Warriors stranded two runners in the fifth, as well in the first and third.
