WILLMAR -- Jackie Noyes had a near perfect afternoon, propelling the Ridgewater Lady Warriors to a 30-9, 30-18, 30-18 win against overmatched Riverland College Saturday.
It was the Lady Warriors' sixth win without a loss in the Southern Division and their 21st overall, most in the MCCC.
Noyes, a freshman middle hitter, was 16-for-16 serving with four aces and flawless on 15 attacks with eight going for kills. Ashley Hennen, another Minneota product, added six kills and four ace serves while Ashley Olson put down eight kills and Hilary Groothuis six.
Laura Suter delivered 32 set assists.
Former Ridgewater coach Val Swanson was honored at the home match for her 25 seasons as the Lady Warriors' head coach. Her teams compiled a 736-313 record which culminated with a national runner-up trophy in 2005.
