WILLMAR - Ridgewater College will host its annual Community Health Fair on March 25 and 26.
The fair offers information about health trends and making healthy choices. It also highlights potential health care careers. The fair will be held on the Hutchinson campus on March 25 and on the Willmar campus on March 26.
These events will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
The theme is Healthy Bodies Make Healthy Minds.
“We simply want to give students and the community the opportunity to explore regional health choices and services in a personal and coordinated venue,” said Tim Olson, Hutchinson event coordinator.
The fair will feature 25 to 35 exhibitors offering hands-on explorations, interactive learning, or samples. Popular exhibits have included proactive health information, massage therapy, fitness clubs, diet and nutrition, natural foods, nutritional supplements, weight loss programs, chiropractic health, dental or optometrist health and area healthcare and outreach services.
The Willmar event will be held in the new campus cafeteria, which will reopen a week before the fair after being closed for major remodeling. The Hutchinson event will be held in the commons area and will also feature a job fair.
