AUSTIN -- Despite a second-game loss, the Ridgewater volleyball team topped Riverland 25-19, 17-25, 25-16, 25-22 to open the Minnesota College Athletic Conference season Wednesday.
The Lady Warriors used a three-player attack to subdue Riverland, with Stephanie Tillman and Jordan Olerud collecting eight kills each and Leah Miller following with seven.
Ridgewater recorded 13 aces in four games, with Carina Fesenmaier nailing five in 26 serves. She also led the team with 27 assists.
Darcie Listul had 16 digs.
