FARGO, N.D. - Eight Ridgewater College freshmen wrestlers got their college initiation at the Bison Open hosted by North Dakota State University on Saturday.
Michael Barrie (Adrian), the only sophomore making the trip, went 4-1 and placed third.
Freshmen Ben Talkington (Chaska) and Cody Pahan (Glenwood) each won three matches and Ben Thonvold (Willmar won twice) against senior college competition at North Dakota State University. The meet included the Minnesota Gophers.
The Warriors will take a full team to the Augsburg Open on Saturday.
