MORRIS -- As summerlike weather finally arrives, so does the latest edition of the Buy Fresh Buy Local Upper Minnesota River Valley Local Foods Guide.
The Buy Fresh Buy Local Guide features the "who, what, when, where, why and how" of local foods. This year's guide features 62 farms, 32 farmers' markets and 14 area businesses.
The farms are organized by region and a map highlights partners throughout the entire chapter area. Farmers markets are arranged in an easy-to-read chart. There's also a comprehensive seasonality guide.
The 24-page guide is being widely distributed to businesses, libraries, co-ops, churches, chambers of commerce and other entities in the Upper Minnesota River Valley.
