BENSON -- Rita Marie Boeckermann, 83, of Benson died Thursday at Meadow Lane Health Care Center in Benson.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Malachy's Catholic Church in Clontarf. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and parish prayers at 6 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service Monday. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.

She was born June 9, 1923, in St. Rosa to Henry and Anna (Ritter) Arnzen. She grew up on the family farm and attended school through eighth grade.
She married Lawrence M. Boeckermann on Nov. 7, 1944, in St. Rosa. They farmed until 1952, when they moved to the Hancock area. She was a homemaker and also worked at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Hancock. She retired in 1976. They moved to Park View Manor in 2005.
She was a member of the St. Malachy CCW.
She is survived by her children: Delores (and Dennis) Krantz of Ham Lake, Arlene (and Al) Nissen of Clontarf, Patricia (and Charles) Krantz of Isanti, David (and Ellie) Boeckermann of Deerwood, Ronald Boeckermann of Washington, Judith (and Phillip) Erickson of Sandstone, James Boeckermann (and Tami Newell) of Russell, Anne (and David) Tozier of Ham Lake, Richard (and Teresa) Boeckermann of Hibbing, Mary (and Rich) Ehrich of Zimmerman; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Gerald (and Arlene) Arnzen of St. Rosa and Emily (and Denis) Schneider of Melrose.
She was preceded in death by her husband in September, one grandson and four brothers.
