ELK RIVER -- Rita May DeBoer, 78, of Elk River, formerly of Willmar, died Monday in Elk River.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Butler-Volland Mortuary in Hastings, Neb. Burial will be at Sunset Gardens in Hasting.
She was born July 19, 1927, to Flora Dell (McDowell) and Cecil Terwey.
She married George DeBoer on Sept. 19, 1942, in Mankato, Kan. She lived in Willmar from 1967 to 1999 and worked for Molenaar Inc.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her children: Sheryl DeBoer of Springfield, Mo., Mike (and Jackie) DeBoer of Hastings, Neb., Miriam (and Grayle) Leech of Elk River; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings: Berdina Kluver and Don Terwey, both of Hastings, N
