MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minneapolis-St. Paul host committee for the Republican National Convention says the week has been a success.
The committee says the amount of media exposure the Twin Cities received by hosting the convention is equivalent to a $330 million advertising campaign.
Host committee CEO Jeff Larson says another way to put it is 122 Super Bowl ads.
Mayor Chris Coleman says he's confident the visitors have left with a positive impression of the Twin Cities that will make them want to come back.
More than 45,000 people were in the Twin Cities for the convention, and the host committee says about 16,000 hotel rooms in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington and other suburbs were booked during the week.
