LITCHFIELD -- Robert Earl "Bob" Rueckert, 54, of Litchfield died Sunday at Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of St. Philip's in Litchfield. Burial will be at Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, with a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Memorials are preferred.
He was born June 1, 1951, in Litchfield to Glen and Bernice (Kahmeyer) Rueckert. He grew up in rural Meeker County and graduated from Grove City High School in 1969. He attended Willmar Technical School.

He married Pat DeSmith on March 11, 1972, in Litchfield. They lived in Litchfield and he worked for First District for 21 years.
He was a past member of the Litchfield Jaycees and Litchfield Rescue Squad.
He is survived by his wife; children: Tammy (and Greg) Lindstrand of Waconia, Robin (and Jeff) Burkman of Belle Plaine, Travis (and Melissa) Rueckert of Watertown; five grandchildren; and siblings: Dale (and Roxanne) Rueckert of Litchfield, Chuck Rueckert of Hutchinson, Glenda (and Ernest) Nelson of Hutchinson, and Gloria Rueckert of Grove City.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
