BENSON -- Robert E. "Bob" Lindahl Sr., 78, of Benson died Saturday at Banner Daywood Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a parish prayer service at 6 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.

He was born Nov. 12, 1927, in Benson to Marvin and Myrtle Lindahl.
He married Mary Anne Hanson in 1949 and then moved to the Twin Cities. There he worked in sales for Minneapolis Moline and BF Goodrich. They moved to Eden Prairie in 1962, and he worked from 1964 to 1976 at Tri-State Machinery, selling heavy equipment. They purchased Sandy's Café and returned to Benson in 1976. They ran the family business until they retired in 1993.
He is survived by his wife; six sons: Steve (and Lori) Lindahl of Eden Prairie, Jeff (and Leslie) Lindahl of Hudson, Wis., David (and Leann) Lindahl of Eden Prairie, Greg Lindahl of Crystal, Bob (and Michelle) Lindahl of Eden Prairie, and Jim (and Heidi) Lindahl of Eden Prairie; 15 grandchildren; and siblings: Dick (and Renee) Lindahl of Fergus Falls and Debbie (and Tom) Tweet of Brooklyn Park.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
