WILLMAR -- Robert John Hart, 76, of Ely, formerly of Willmar, died Sept. 5 at his daughter's home in Willmar, after having cancer.
The service took place Monday at First Lutheran Church in Ely. Arrangements were with Landmark Funeral Home of Virginia.
He was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Deer River to Frank and Lena Hart.
He married Sharlene Bonderson on Sept. 24, 1952. He worked at Reserve Mining Company for 16 years. Then he was a truck driver until his retirement. He lived with his daughter in Willmar from March 2005 to March 2007.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ely.
He is survived by his wife of Ely; daughter: Kristel Hart (and Sherwood Mellom) of Willmar; son: Alan (and Marcy) Hart of Ely; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers: Frank (and Joan) Hart of Chisolm and Gordon (and Pat) Hart of Aitkin.
