LITCHFIELD -- Roger Everrett Dean, 68, of Litchfield died Sunday at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The memorial service will be held at a later date.
Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home of Litchfield is handling arrangements.
He was born on June 24, 1938, to Everrett and Alice (Hanson) Dean in Kandiyohi County. In 1941, he moved to Litchfield with his family. He attended and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1956. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1960 to 1963 and was a specialist 5th class. He lived and farmed on the family farm and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

He is survived by his brothers: Edward (and Marie) Dean of Ava, Mo., and David (and Jeanne) Dean of Litchfield; and one sister: Alice (and David) Dorschner of Montevideo; five nieces and nephews; 10 great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a niece.
