OLIVIA -- Rosalean V. "Rosie" Savoie, 73, of Olivia died Sunday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Faith United Methodist Church in Olivia. Burial will be at the Olivia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
She was born Feb. 20, 1933, south of Danube to William and Lillie (Lawin) Bratsch. She attended country school at District 70 in rural Danube. She graduated from Olivia High School. She worked for Balcer Variety at the ASCS Office for many years. She retired in 1988. She also worked for the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Coop, Armcor Corp., and the Olivia Healthcare Center.

She is survived by her children: Kim (and Sue) Savoie of Olivia, Doyle Savoie (and Lisa) of Olivia, Robin (and Kenny) Schwer of Olivia, Heidi (and Rob) Toren of Chantilly, Va.; four grandchildren; and her siblings: Gilbert (and Helen) Bratsch of Danube, Dennis (and Eileen) Bratsch of New London, Willis (and Betty) Bratsch of Willmar, Verona Beckler of Lake Lillian, Ruth Jacobson of Sacred Heart, Virginia Faiman of Olivia, Gloria McGovern of Maple Grove, and Beverly Kubesh of Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Louis Savoie in 1996; three brothers and two sisters.
