MONTEVIDEO -- Rosanne Gertrude Helle, 41, of Sturgeon Lake, formerly of Montevideo, died Friday at her sister's home in Moundsview after a two-year battle with cancer.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo and one hour before the service at the church.

She was born Oct. 2, 1964, in Glenwood to Bill and Iris (Weingarth) Miltz. She graduated from Montevideo High School in 1983 and continued her education with one year of college.

On May 3, 1986, she married Dan Helle in Montevideo. They moved to Sturgeon Lake in October 2005.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters: Samantha and Shelby, both of Sturgeon Lake; brothers and sisters: Dennis Miltz of Rogers, Bonnie (and Wayne) Sanderson of Siren, Wis., Gary (and Barb) Huntley of Montevideo, Cindy Staab of Moundsview, Pam Fagen (and Jim Dohrer) of St. Cloud, Pat (and Jeff) Moot of Plymouth and Harriet Huntley (and Rita Lichtblau) of Delano.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
