RENVILLE -- Roy Edward Zima, 90, of Renville died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
A private service will be held. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Renville.
Arrangements are by Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville.
He was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Renville to Edward and Ella (Navratil) Zima. He graduated in 1936 from Renville High School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1942 to 1946.
He married Verna Niehaus on March 5, 1944, in St. Joseph, Mo. In 1949, they moved to Renville and farmed east of town. He retired in 1980.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Renville and the Renville Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter: Lynn (and Joseph) Bartlett of Coon Rapids and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers.
