ST. CLOUD -- Roy Frank Brandt Sr., 84, of St. Cloud, formerly of Willmar and Olivia, died Monday at the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
The service will be at 12 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
He was born Oct. 15, 1922, in Renville to Frank and Lily (Schwartz) Brandt. He lived in Willmar and Olivia. He worked for Chamberlin Engineering in Olivia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II at the Battle of the Bulge. He moved to St. Cloud in 1996.

He is survived by his children: Julie Blanchette, Frank (and Sharon), both of Sartell; three grandchildren; and one sister: Iris Maresch of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Mary; one brother and one sister.
