VILLARD -- Ruth K. Stalker, 97, of Villard died Tuesday at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Villard. Burial will be in Lake Amelia Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.
She was born Sept. 29, 1910, in Worthington to Clarence and Clara (Bertog) Schaub. She attended Stiles country school and then high school in Sauk Centre. She took one year of normal teachers training and taught for three years.
She married James Stalker on June 30, 1933. They lived on a farm east of Villard. She worked for many years at the Villard Post Office. Jim died in 1977. She moved to Villard.

She is survived by her sister: Helen Butler of Glenwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, and an infant brother and sister.
