WILLMAR -- Ruth Olive Regan, 88, of Willmar died Tuesday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
The memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Willmar.
She was born July 24, 1917, in Christmas Lake to William and Margit (Mittvedt) Swenson. The family moved to Willmar when she was young. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1935. She worked for the Minnesota Highway Department.
She married Gerald Regan on June 23, 1945, in Clontarf. They lived in several communities and settled in Grove City in 1959. She owned and operated the Grove City Sundry and Antique Store. They retired in 1977 and moved to Willmar. She entered Bethesda Homes in 1996.

She is survived by her husband; daughter: Mary Kjolsing of Willmar; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
