LAKE LILLIAN -- Sandra Kay Whetston, 64, of Lake Lillian died Tuesday at her home.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lake Lillian. Burial will be at the Community Cemetery in Lake Lillian.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at K-M Funeral Home in Lake Lillian, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
She was born Jan. 26, 1942, in Redwood Falls to Arthur and Margaret (Huling) Schumacher. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1960 and then attended business college for a year.

She married Francis Whetston on July 15, 1961, in Morton. They lived in the Minneapolis area and she worked as a babysitter. They lived in Germany for two years while Francis was in the military and then settled in Willmar for a short while. They moved to Lake Lillian in 1970. They operated a gas station for several years and she drove a school bus for many years.
She is survived by her husband; and her son: Tim (and Janet) Whetston of New London.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
