St. John's University won its second straight NCAA III Men's Golf Championship on Friday, led by junior Joe Schoolmeesters of Litchfield.
Schoolmeesters' four-round total of 294 at Braselton, Ga., was good for sixth place and All-America first-team honors. Joey Polingo, also a junior from Litchfield, tied for 19th with a 301 total.
