ORTONVILLE -- Scott Peter Streed, 47, of Ortonville, died Saturday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar after a battle with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS).
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of St. John in Ortonvlle. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation continues for one hour before the service at the church. Harvey Anderson Funeral Home of Willmar is handling arrangements.
He is survived by his parents, Oscar and Jane (Thuesen) Streed of Ortonville; 10 siblings including: Nathan (and Wendy) Streed of Willmar; 22 nieces and nephews; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one brother in infancy and one niece.
