WILLMAR -- Troy Gordon Houdek, 47, of New London, made his first court appearance Friday on six felony drug sale and conspiracy charges for allegedly participating in the sale of methamphetamine to a CEE-VI Drug Task Force informant.
Unconditional bail was set at $150,000, with conditional bail at $75,000. His next appearance in Kandiyohi County District Court is set for Oct. 12.
Houdek is the second of three individuals facing felony charges for selling meth in the New London area. Kathleen Mary Huiras-Weber, 43, of New London, made her first ap-pearance last week on five felony char-ges. Gerald Allen Schulenburg, 39, of Belgrade, has a warrant for his arrest and faces two felony drug sale charges and a gross misdemeanor for possessing guns as a user of controlled substances.
According to the complaint, a CEE-VI informant purchased a gram of meth from Huiras-Weber on June 25 at Houdek's New London residence. On June 30, the informant purchased 2.3 grams of meth. The informant was to give the money to her, to pass on to Houdek, who would go to Schulenburg's home to buy the drugs and bring the meth to a New London home for the informant.
On July 21, the informant attempted to buy more meth from the men, as Huiras-Weber was in the county jail. The informant and a CEE-VI agent met Houdek at the Country Stop in New London and gave him money to buy drugs, but Houdek returned the money after he suspected he was being followed by task force agents.

On July 1, a search warrant was executed on Schulenburg's home. Officers found a total of $2,928 in his wallet, a total of 7 grams of meth in the garage, an "owe" sheet, drug paraphernalia and surveillance equipment in the house. A number of weapons, including three .22-caliber guns, four 12-gauge shotguns and a .410 shotgun plus ammunition, were found in the home.
Schulenburg was interviewed and claimed the meth was for his personal use, that he had not sold or given any to anyone and that the cash came from selling a car for $2,000 and a cashing a $600 paycheck.
Officers later verified that the cash confiscated from Schulenburg contained bills recorded by CEE-VI as used to fund the June 30 controlled buy.
