The Section 5A-West and 6AA-South softball playoffs begin today.
In the 5A-West quarterfinals involving area teams, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City plays at Browerville and Holdingford is at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa. Both games are at 5 p.m.
in 6AA-South, Sauk Centre plays at Minnewaska and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle visits Paynesville. Those games are slated for 4:30 p.m.
