SAUK CENTRE -A 50-year-old man was seriously injured after his semi truck veered off eastbound Interstate 94 and crashed into a bridge pillar on the westbound lanes near Friday.
Curt Willoughby of Fullerton, Calif, was airlifted to a St. Cloud hospital after the 9 p.m. crash, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The trailer ended up in the right lane, spilling its load of wheat and grain in the westbound lanes, the patrol said.
No further information was available.
