WILLMAR -- Sen. Dean Johnson, DFL-Willmar, will meet with the Kandiyohi County Commissioners Tuesday morning for a general discussion on state and local issues. Johnson is the Senate Majority Leader. He is scheduled to meet with the Commissioners from 10 to 10:30 a.m. as part of the regular county board meeting.
Other items on the agenda include special assessment and nuisance abatement; condition use permits; presentation of the annual report by the regional Resources Conservation District; delinquent accounts with the Green Lake Sanitary Sewer and Water District; and a revised snowmobile grant.
The Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m.as the Family Service Committee to elect a chairman and vice-chairman. They will meet as the Board of Health at 11:45 a.m.
Following a lunch break, the commissioners will resume their meeting at 1:30 p.m. to discuss a waterfowl project with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
The meeting will be in the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building, located at 2200 23 St. NE in Willmar.
