WILLMAR – Veterans outreach staff from Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s office will be in Willmar tomorrow morning to kick-off a two-week tour to highlight resources available to veterans and their families.
Klobuchar’s staff will meet with local veterans’ affairs officials and members of the public from 9 -10 a.m. Wednesday in the county board room in the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Buildings, 2200 23rd Street, in Willmar.
The forum is open to the public and provide attendees the opportunity to learn about local, state and federal resources to improve the health care services, educational benefits and job opportunities for veterans.
A meeting will also be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion, 100 Veterans Drive, in Redwood Falls.
