PENNOCK -- Firefighters from Pennock and Kerkhoven battled a shed fire Sunday night along the 12000 block of U.S. Highway 12 Northwest.
Pennock firefighters were on scene from 9:30 p.m. until about 1:30 a.m. battling the blaze. According to a report taken by the Kandiyohi County emergency dispatch, assistance was also requested from a Kerkhoven Fire Department tanker.
The Kandiyohi Couny Sheriff's Office responded around 1:30 a.m. to assist in the investigation of the fire.
Pennock firefighters were called back to the shed around 11:40 a.m. Monday after the fire flared up again. The firefighters were on scene for about an hour.
