DANUBE — Emergency services responded to a structure fire Wednesday afternoon on the 81000 block of Renville County Road 1, about a mile south of Danube, according to a news release from the Renville County Sheriff's Office .
According to the release, a preliminary investigation found the fire began on the southwest side of a shed, owned by Paul and Kelly Besendorf, of Danube, and was caused by construction work being done at the time.
No injuries or the extent of damages are listed in the news release.
The Danube Fire Department, Danube MRU, Olivia Fire Department, and Olivia Ambulance also responded to the incident, reported at 3:44 p.m. Wednesday.
