Sheriff seeks information on Watkins hit-and-run crash

WATKINS -- Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin is asking anyone with information regarding a Sunday morning hit-and-run incident in Watkins to contact his office.

WATKINS -- Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin is asking anyone with information regarding a Sunday morning hit-and-run incident in Watkins to contact his office.

The sheriff's office received a report of a damaged vehicle around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Central Avenue South in Watkins. The responding deputy determined that a 1999 Olds Alero had been rear ended by another vehicle pushing it out into the traffic lane. The suspect had left the area after hitting the parked car. The owner of the damaged vehicle was identified as Craig Theisen of rural Kimball. The car was towed by Jack's Towing.
