HANLEY FALLS -- Sheryl Ann "Cuppy" Fenger, 52, of Hanley Falls died Tuesday at the Granite Falls Hospital.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church, with a prayer service, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association of Echo and Wabasso.

She was born Oct. 29, 1954, in Deer River to Glen and Erma (Walker) Giffen. She grew up in and attended elementary school in Federal Dam. She graduated from Northland High School in 1972. She attended and worked at Bemidji Vo Tech School. She lived in Grand Rapids, moved to Bovie and then moved to Cottonwood in 1978.

She married Steve Fenger on June 6, 1981, in Willmar. They lived in Dickenson, S.D., for six years, lived in Sauk Centre for 14 years and moved to Hanley Falls in 2000. She worked in the regulatory compliance department for the Prairie's Edge Gaming Commission.

She was a member of Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls.

She is survived by her husband; daughters: Stacy (and Kevin) Schwartz of Marshall, Holly Fenger of Marshall, Tracy Fenger of Marshall, Sami Jo Fenger of Willmar; four grandchildren; her mother of Cottonwood; and her siblings: Glenda (and Ron) Vanlerberghe of Cottonwood, Sandy (and Bob) Kline of Dena, Pete Giffen of Cloquet and Pam Pehrson of Lake Shetek.

She was preceded in death by her father.
