STARBUCK -- Shirley Ann Hermanson, 73, of Starbuck, died Friday at Robbinsdale Health Care Center in Robbinsdale.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Burial will be at West Moe Lutheran Cemetery, rural Brandon.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Starbuck Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

She was born Sept. 5, 1934, in Moe Township, Douglas County, to August E. and Anna (Esala) Anderson. She attended District 5 and graduated from Brandon High School in 1952. She graduated from the School of Business in Minneapolis.
She married Wayne Hermanson on March 28, 1953, in rural Brandon. They lived in Brandon until Wayne entered the U.S. Army. After his discharge, they moved to Starbuck and purchased Hermanson Jewelry, and she worked at the store. After the store was closed, she worked at the Rem House and also the Starbuck Veterans of Foreign Wars post until she became ill in 2007.
She was a member of Fron Lutheran Church, the Starbuck American Legion Auxiliary and served as president. She also belonged to the Starbuck Softball League.
She is survived by a daughter: Tamara (and Steve) Kelzenberg of Isanti; sons: Randy Hermanson of St. Paul and Wayne Hermanson of Cambridge; her mother of Evansville; and one sister: Mae Eichelberger of Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter: Debrah Hermanson; daughter: Denise Sharlene Kosin; and by her father.
