Two players from Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa and two from Central Minnesota Christian were among six area players named to the Coaches Association All-State Volleyball team Thursday.
Selected from BBE were April Hansen and Ashley Lensing. The Jaguars qualified for the state tournament for the first-time since pairing in 1985.
Kresson Vreeman and Hillary Slagter were picked from CMCS, which will be playing for third place today in Class A.
Mary Sussenguth of Willmar and Leah Ashburn of Buffalo Lake-Hector were also named to the team.
