Snow emergency for downtown Willmar Monday night

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Public Works department will be out in force Monday night as they clear the downtown central business district from the latest snowfall. A snow emergency has been declared starting at 10 p.m. Monday night and going until 6 a.m.

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Public Works department will be out in force Monday night as they clear the downtown central business district from the latest snowfall. A snow emergency has been declared starting at 10 p.m. Monday night and going until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The area under the emergency is from 1st Street Southwest to 7th Street Southwest and Trott Avenue to the bypass. Any vehicles left on the streets during the emergency will be towed at the owner's expense. The city parking lots are open to those who normally park their vehicles on the street.
