WILLMAR -- Fergus Falls scored with four minutes left in regulation to hand Willmar a 1-0 loss Tuesday in the Central Lakes Conference.
Maggie Kolle found the inside of the net off a corner kick 36 minutes into the second half to put the Otters (2-5-1, 3-6-1) ahead. Willmar (1-6, 2-8) outshot Fergus Falls, but couldn't find the net.
"We missed some very quality scoring chances," said Willmar coach Doug Rossum, whose squad had won two of its previous three games. "It could have gone either way. We had a couple shots go off the post and a header that also went off the post.
"It was a tough-luck loss, but the team is getting into a groove and playing together as a team."
