OLIVIA -- Tory Brouwer drove in six runs with a grand-slam home run and a triple Thursday to help MACCRAY upend former Two Twelve Conference rival BOLD 9-2 in a non-conference softball game.
Brouwer found a gap in right-center to drive in Brandi Bodin, Brandy Woodring and Christine Condon with her home run in the fifth inning. Brouwer then tripled in two more runs in the sixth as MACCRAY posted back-to-back four-run innings.
Hilary Groothuis surrendered RBI singles to Missy Benson and Laura Wallenta in the fifth while striking out eight in her complete-game win.
MACCRAY's Megan Han-sen scored the game's first run in the fourth and Condon singled in a run in the sixth.
