DANUBE -- MACCRAY scored 26 runs and took advantage of 14 Renville County West errors in a Camden Conference doubleheader sweep Tuesday.

The Wolverines (2-0, 6-1) won the first game 19-3 in five innings on nine hits and 10 RCW errors, then took the second game, 7-4.

MACCRAY scored 13 runs in the fourth inning of Game 1 and Hilary Groothuis held the Jaguars to three hits. She struck out 10 and walked one.

She also picked up the win in the second game in relief of Tory Brouwer, going five scoreless innings. Brouwer led the team at the plate with three hits, including two triples.

(8 innings) -- Emily Kuefler, Katie Gruber and Sarah Gruber drove in runs in the top of the eighth inning, leading the Jaguars (2-4, 4-4) past Rockford.

Brandi Bast pitched all eight innings for the win, scattering 13 hits. She walked none and struck out none.

Emily Roelike and Sarah Gruber had three hits each to lead a 14-hit attack for BBE. Bast, Katie Gruber and Bridget White had two hits each.

BOLD scored twice in the sixth inning with two outs to break a 6-6 tie. Laura Wallenta followed Missy Benson's double with one of her own to put BOLD ahead 7-6 before scoring on a wild pitch. Benson doubled twice and also tripled.

Christy Gass allowed four hits in six innings for the win.

Waconia 7, Litchfield 6

Waconia lined the game-winning hit over a pulled in Litchfield outfield with two outs in the seventh inning.

The Dragons (0-6, 2-6) jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the top of the third, but Waconia scored three right away and tied the game with three more in the sixth.

Dani Heuer led Litchfield with two doubles and Kayla Salo added two hits.
