GLENWOOD -- Karly Watson and Erica Olson had keys hits as Minnewaska Area remained unbeaten with a 9-5 win over Albany on Tuesday in West Central North softball.
Watson, the Lakers' No. 9 hitter, slashed a bases-loaded single to drive in two runs in the third to overcome an early Huskies' lead. Olson singled in the third for two more runs as the Lakers scored three runs in back-to-back innings for a 6-4 lead.
Watson finished 3-for-3 and Olson 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Teri Paulzine, the second of three Laker pitchers, got the win. Kali Cordes threw two hitless innings with four strikeouts to wrap up the Lakers' ninth win.

Bulldog pitcher Ashley Ogdahl threw a two-hitter, striking out seven and walking six.
Paynesville (3-3, 6-5) scored nine runs between the fourth and fifth innings and ended the game by the 10-run rule in the sixth.
Amanda Skalicky had two hits and drove in three runs for Paynesville.
