DANUBE -- BOLD poured across nine runs in the top of the sixth to run away from Renville County West 15-2 on Monday in the season opener for both teams.
Winning pitcher Sara Grasmon pitched three perfect inning, striking out two.
Missy Benson got three of BOLD's nine hits off RCW's Megan Groen. Brianna Keltgen had a double and two RBI and Chelsey Remillard scored three times and plated two runs.
Kelsey Prahl had an RBI single for RCW which got its four hits and two runs off reliever Kristy Gass, who drove in two runs for her team.
