MURDOCK -- Steph Stassen went 5-for-7 and drove in four runs on the day to help Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg sweep Dawson-Boyd in a Camden Conference doubleheader Tuesday.
Stassen had three RBI singles in the first game as KMS (5-1, 5-1) used 10 hits to post a 12-6 win. Stassen then collected two more singles in the second game as the Fighting Saints won 9-2.
Patina Queenan gave up only two hits in the nightcap.
Laura Zimmer had a run-scoring triple in both games for KMS. Tiffany Viessman drove in four runs with three hits in the opener for Dawson-Boyd (1-3, 3-3).
