GRANITE FALLS -- Yellow Medicine East hit three home runs and collected 14 hits to outslug Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 13-10 Tuesday.
The homer parade started in the third inning with Audrey Formo's solo shot, pinning the Sting to a 4-1 lead. Ashley Vikander added a two-run blast in the fourth and Kristen Hegna highlighted a five-run fifth with a two-run homer.
Five players had two hits for the Sting (2-0, 2-1).
Ashley Schmeling and Kalina Blackwell had two hits each for the Falcons (1-1, 2-2), with Schmeling driving in two runs.

BOLD's Missy Benson just beat the throw home after a bunt by Breanna Keltgen in the top of the seventh to score and break a 7-all tie.
Lac qui Parle Valley scored five in the bottom of the second, but BOLD came right back, scoring five in the top of third after two were out and no one on base. Benson also had a triple and two RBI. Sara Grasmon threw two innings of shutout ball for the win in relief.
The Eagles, who were short three starters, got a single and double from Mindy Clark.
