WILLMAR -- Highways in southwestern Minnesota are being opened to travel, although the Minnesota Department of Transportation describes travel as difficult on slippery roadways.
The 7 a.m. update on MnDOT's road and travel conditions website -- 511mn.org -- showed several highways have opened, though not yet in the Willmar area where conditions were last updated after 5 a.m.
