REDWOOD FALLS -- Spencer John Braken, 53, of Redwood Falls died Saturday at the Redwood Area Hospital.
The service will be at 1 p.m. June 11 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Private burial will be at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery in Bemidji.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls.
He was born Oct. 26, 1954, in Orange, Calif., to Daniel and Marjorie (Bauman) Braken. He lived in Fullerton, Calif. In 1965, he moved to Minnesota with his family. He graduated in 1972 from Redwood Falls High School. He attended Mankato State College for two years. He worked at Dari King from seventh grade until February. At the time of his death he was part owner of Dari King.
He is survived by his daughter: Deja Brockberg (and fiancé James Quint) of Bemidji; his parents of Redwood Falls; siblings: Cynthia (and John) Vanderwerf of Fridley and Daniel Braken of Redwood Falls.
