SPICER -- The Spicer City Council will not hold a closed meeting with the city's election judges on Thursday.
The meeting has been called off by the council after the individual who complained about the conduct of the city's chief election judge indicated she didn't want to proceed further, according to LaNae Osmond, city clerk.
At the Jan. 10 regular meeting, the council had set a closed meeting for 5:30 p.m. Thursday to meet individually with election judges to investigate purported comments made on Election Day by the head election judge.
Individuals with concerns about the election will be advised to make their complaint to the proper authority, either the county attorney or the Secretary of State's Office, according to council member Terry Holmquist.
