NEW LONDON -- Authorities arrested a 20-year-old rural Spicer man early Sunday, who they say fled from the scene of a rollover crash in rural New London.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy discovered the rollover around 2:40 a.m. on Kandiyohi County Road 40 near 85th Street Northeast.
As the deputy approached the crash, two people fled the scene. The deputy apprehended one of the individuals, the 20-year-old man, but was not able to arrest the other.
The 20-year-old sustained minor injuries in the crash. He was booked into the Kandiyohi County Jail, pending charges including driving while impaired.
The Tribune generally does not name criminal suspects until charges are formally filed.
