NEW LONDON - A Spicer woman was injured early Monday morning when her vehicle struck a deer.
The accident happened at around 5:24 a.m. on state Highway 23 near the Roseville Road in northern Kandiyohi County.
According to the State Patrol, Tiffany Jane Rittgers, 38, was going west on Highway 23 when a deer ran across the road and collided with her vehicle.
She was taken to the Paynesville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene of the crash.
