DULUTH, Minn. -- A  St. Louis County Sheriff's Office squad car stolen in Superior, Wis., has been recovered in good condition.

The black, unmarked squad car was recovered around noon Wednesday in Duluth after a person contacted the Duluth Police Department, Sheriff Ross Litman said.

It looked like all of the Sheriff's Office equipment was still in the vehicle, Litman said.

The Sheriff's Office doesn't have any suspects in the theft and anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office. The 2013 Chevrolet Impala was stolen about 6 p.m. Monday while it was parked on the University of Wisconsin-Superior campus. Litman said afterward that it was rare and brazen for someone to steal a Sheriff's Office vehicle.
