BUFFALO LAKE -- Stacey Marcia Franzeen, 45, of Buffalo Lake died Wednesday at Birchwood in Hutchinson, after a 4½-year battle with cancer.
The service will be at 11 a.m .Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Hector. Burial will be at the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
She was born April 25, 1961, in Olivia to Marvin and Delores (Koepp) Evenson. She grew up in Hector, and graduated from Hector High School in 1979.

She married Tim Franzeen on July 26, 1980, in Hector. They lived in the Hector and Buffalo Lake area. She worked as a clerk at Dickman Drug in Hector and then worked for Renville County Social Services. She was assistant manager at Oakdale Country Club.
She was the Sunday school superintendent at Swedlanda Lutheran Church and later taught Sunday school at United Methodist Church in Hector. She also served on the Play Pals Board. She also organized Secret Santa for needy children.
She is survived by her husband; children: Katie (and Michael) Ovitt of Marshall, Kasey Franzeen of Buffalo Lake; her parents of Hector; and her siblings: Stanley (and Gail) Evenson of Hector; Susan (and Bruce) Precht of Hutchinson, Sharon (and Don) Lothert of Danube, Sandy (and Howard) Hughes of Hector, Shelia (and Greg) Krueger of Hector, and Sarah (and Ron) Homan of Hector.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
