OLIVIA -- Stanley Aloysius Brtek, 88, of Olivia died Thursday at the Granite Falls Manor in Granite Falls.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith United Methodist Church in Olivia. Burial will be at the Olivia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born April 27, 1917, in rural Olivia to Joseph and Matilda (Maxjner) Brtek. He attended St. Aloysius School until the eighth grade.
He married Jeanne Griffith on Feb. 21, 1950, in Olivia. They lived in Olivia. He worked for the Renville County Highway Department for more than 30 years. Jeanne died in 2004. He had recently moved to the Granite Falls Manor.
He is survived by his daughters: Stephanie (and Dale) Rosenau and Janel Brtek.
He was preceded in death by his wife; four brothers; and two sisters.
