WILLMAR — Those needing to renew their driver's licenses will be able to make appointments online with the Kandiyohi County License Bureau starting June 1.
All appointments will be made through the new online scheduling system at www.kcmn.us/mvr .
In-person appointments will be made only for driver's license services, title transfers or to license vehicles that are new to the state. Dealer work, license tab renewals and boat/ATV renewals should continue to use the drop box found at the Kandiyohi County Office building in downtown Willmar.
The deadline for REAL ID regulations has been extended to Oct. 21, 2021, so there is no rush to obtain the new cards. Those whose licenses are expiring can still get the new cards. More information on REAL ID can be found at dvs.dps.mn.gov .
